Abstract

This study aimed to 1) design and develop an e-commerce website for selling birdcages and related accessories, using Dok Rak Shop as a case study, 2) evaluate user satisfaction with the website, and 3) expand the shop’s product distribution channels through digital platforms. A purposive sampling method was employed to select a sample of 30 general users who participated in the evaluation of their satisfaction with the developed website. The research instruments included 1) the e-commerce website for birdcages and accessories and 2) a structured user satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, namely mean and standard deviation. The research findings revealed that overall user satisfaction was at the highest level ( equation = 4.53, S.D. = 0.35). The system efficiently supported online purchasing processes, enabling customers to browse products, make payments, and track order status conveniently. Additionally, the website provided essential backend functionalities for administrators, such as updating product information, monitoring order statuses, and generating sales reports. Regarding specific satisfaction dimensions, the system efficiency received the highest rating ( equation = 4.53, S.D. = 0.35), followed by content quality ( equation = 4.46, S.D. = 0.29) and website design ( equation = 4.45, S.D. = 0.30), all of which were rated at a very high level. These results indicate that the developed website effectively meets user needs and expectations and can serve as a model for promoting the digital transformation of local businesses through functional and user-friendly web solutions.
