Development of a Silver Product Sales System: A Case Study of Ekaphan Shop

Abstract

         This research aims to develop a silver product sales system for Ekaphan Shop, a traditional silverware retail business. The developed system is intended to enhance the efficiency of product information management, ordering, inventory control, and customer service both in-store and online—by utilizing website technology to facilitate transactions. The system was developed using WordPress, a user-friendly Content Management System (CMS). The developed system includes functionalities such as product listing, product search, shopping cart, and a basic payment system. Data was collected through a questionnaire used to measure user satisfaction from a sample of 55 participants, evaluating aspects of website design, content, and system performance. The research findings show that user satisfaction with the developed silver product sales system for Ekaphan Shop was at the highest level. In detail, the aesthetic appeal and attractiveness of the website received a mean score of 4.31, S.D. = 1.15; ease of use and simplicity scored a mean of 4.20, S.D. = 1.15; convenience and speed of product search received a mean of 4.36, S.D. = 0.97; accuracy and clarity of product information and pricing received a mean of 4.51, S.D. = 0.93; and the security and functionality of the ordering and payment system scored a mean of 4.47, S.D. = 0.91. The overall satisfaction with the website system for silver product sales received a mean score of 4.42, S.D. = 0.96, reflecting the success of the website development in effectively meeting user needs and usage expectations.
