This study aimed to (1) examine the level of job burnout among state enterprise employees in Bangkok and the Metropolitan Region, (2) explore the relationships among work-life balance, quality of work life, and job burnout, and (3) identify combined predictors of job burnout. The sample consisted of 384 employees of state enterprises in Thailand. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson product-moment correlation, and multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed: (1) the majority of respondents were female, aged between 41–50 years, with 11–15 years of organizational tenure, and held qualifications above the bachelor's degree level; (2) perceptions toward quality of work life, work-life balance, and job burnout were all rated at the highest level of agreement; and (3) both quality of work life and work-life balance had statistically significant effects on job burnout at the .05 level of significance. Notably, work-life balance explained 73.0% of the variance in job burnout, exceeding quality of work life at 52.3%. The findings can serve as a framework for policy formulation, workplace interventions, and initiatives to promote conducive working environments and reduce the risk of job burnout in state enterprise organizations.
