Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) develop and implement a web-based database and multimedia system for Chemical Nakhon Si Co., Ltd., (2) evaluate the system's efficiency after implementation and (3) assess user satisfaction toward the developed system. The sample consisted of 3 experts selected through purposive sampling and 400 users selected through accidental sampling. The research instruments included the developed web-based system a system efficiency evaluation and a user satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results revealed that: (1) The developed system built on WordPress with WooCommerce and MySQL on cloud hosting successfully managed the chemical product database real-time stock and multimedia contents. (2) The overall system efficiency evaluated by experts was at a highest level (x̄ = 4.61, S.D. = 0.48) with the system structure and management obtaining the highest score. (3) The overall user satisfaction was also at a highest level (x̄ = 4.55, S.D. = 0.52), where the system efficiency of database and multimedia aspect received the highest satisfaction score. This system effectively enhanced operational efficiency and reduced redundant processes for the organization.
